Privacy Policy

The Short Version
Foxbridge is self-hosted software. Your Atlassian data, AI conversations, and uploaded files never leave your infrastructure. The only data we see is license validation requests. That's it.
1. What We Collect
License Validation
When Foxbridge starts and periodically during operation, it sends a request to foxbridge.dev/api/license/validate containing only your license key. We use this to verify your subscription is active and return your tier, seat count, and expiry date. We do not collect IP addresses, user agents, or any other metadata from these requests.
Trial Registration
When you sign up for a trial, we collect your email address to generate a license key and prevent duplicate trials. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe provides us with your email, subscription status, and payment history for billing purposes.
Website Analytics
foxbridge.dev uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or collect personal data. We see aggregate page views and country-level traffic. No individual visitors are tracked.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
Because Foxbridge is self-hosted, we have zero access to:
- Your Atlassian data (Jira issues, Confluence pages, Bitbucket repos)
- AI conversations between your users and the AI provider
- Uploaded files processed by the AI
- Your AI provider API keys
- Your Atlassian credentials or OAuth tokens
- Chat history, session data, or user activity
This is by design. Data sovereignty is our core value proposition.
3. How We Store Data
License keys and associated email addresses are stored in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage) in Cloudflare's global network. Stripe handles payment data. We do not operate our own databases.

5. Your AI Provider
Foxbridge sends your Atlassian data to the AI provider you configure. This happens entirely within your infrastructure — we are not involved. You are responsible for understanding your AI provider's data policies:
- Anthropic Privacy Policy
- OpenAI Privacy Policy
- Azure OpenAI Data Privacy
- Ollama: Fully local — no data leaves your machine
If you enable PII scrubbing (scrub_pii: true), Foxbridge redacts personal information before sending data to the AI provider.
6. Data Retention
- License records: Retained for the duration of your subscription + 90 days
- Trial emails: Retained for 1 year after trial expiry, then deleted
- Payment records: Retained by Stripe per their policies
7. Your Rights
You may request:
- Access: What data we hold about you (it's just email + license key)
- Deletion: Remove your data from our systems
- Export: Receive a copy of your data

8. Changes
We may update this policy with 30 days' notice via email to license holders. The current version is always available at foxbridge.dev/privacy.
