Why Foxbridge exists

AI assistants are transforming how teams work with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket — but the mainstream options process your tickets, pages, and source code on vendor infrastructure. For government, healthcare, finance, and any organization running Atlassian Data Center precisely because data residency matters, that's a non-starter. Foxbridge is the answer: a self-hosted AI assistant that runs as a single Docker container on your network, connected to the AI provider you choose — including fully local, air-gapped models via Ollama.

Who builds it

Foxbridge is built by James Gagan, founder of Plip Software, based in British Columbia, Canada. James is a software developer who has spent years working with Atlassian Data Center deployments in large, security-conscious organizations — the environments Foxbridge is designed for. He built Foxbridge because the teams that most need AI assistance are often the ones least able to use cloud-hosted AI tools.
